Daniel Willoughby - Director of Operations


Daniel Willoughby serves as the Director of Operations at Optimum Allied Health. Bringing his expertise in healthcare operations management, Daniel oversees the daily functions of the company, ensuring efficient service delivery and high standards of care. He works closely with the team to implement strategic initiatives and improve processes that enhance patient outcomes. His role encompasses managing various allied health services, from community and residential aged care to workplace health programs, ensuring the company’s offerings meet the diverse needs of clients across NSW and QLD​


Jacob Hughes - Physiotherapy Team Leader – Grafton and Coffs Harbour + Director


Jacob Hughes is a partner in OAH and the Physiotherapy Team Leader for the Grafton and Coffs Harbour locations at Optimum Allied Health. In addition to his hands-on clinical work, Jacob manages the physiotherapy teams across both locations, guiding them to deliver high-quality care. He ensures that his team is well-supported, adheres to best practices, and meets service delivery standards. With expertise in musculoskeletal rehabilitation and workplace health, Jacob is dedicated to optimizing patient outcomes and driving innovative programs.


Danielle Bull  - Team Leader for Occupational Therapy


​Danielle Bull is the Team Leader for Occupational Therapy at Optimum Allied Health, where she oversees the NDIS and community aged care programs and manages the team of OTs across our clinics locations. With a background that includes extensive experience in paediatrics and a previous role as a university lecturer, Danielle brings a wealth of knowledge to her team. She is dedicated to mentoring occupational therapists, expanding the referral network, and ensuring high-quality service delivery. Her leadership focuses on empowering our OT’s to help clients to achieve their goals and improving their quality of life through tailored therapy interventions.


Ben Gwilliam - Physiotherapy Team Leader Ballina and Casino


Ben Gwilliam leads the physiotherapy team at Optimum Allied Health and has been with the company since 2016. With a background that includes working internationally in countries like Malawi, Ben brings extensive experience in physiotherapy and rehabilitation. He is passionate about making a lasting impact on healthcare standards, particularly in training local practitioners in low-income countries. At Optimum Allied Health, Ben focuses on clinical leadership, delivering high-quality care, and supporting the professional growth of his team.


Riley Coulson  - Physiotherapy Team Leader, Tweed Heads and Gold Coast


​Riley Coulson is the Team Leader for the Tweed Heads clinic at Optimum Allied Health, where he is responsible for managing and developing the physiotherapy team across the Tweed Heads and Gold Coast regions. In his role, Riley focuses on guiding his team to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care, ensuring that service standards are consistently met. He also supports the professional development of team members, helping them grow their skills and advance in their careers. Riley's leadership is key to driving the clinic's success and expanding the reach of physiotherapy services in the region.


 

Michael Harders - Residential Aged Care Team Leader


Michael Harders serves as the Residential Aged Care Team Leader at Optimum Allied Health. He is responsible for the overall service delivery in residential aged care, including managing all aspects of operations, recruitment, and the development of innovative service delivery models. Michael's leadership ensures that Optimum Allied Health provides high-quality, person-centered care across residential aged care facilities. His focus on continuous improvement and strategic planning helps the company adapt to the evolving needs of aged care clients while maintaining exceptional service standards.


Mitchell Pateman - Exercise Physiology Team Leader


Mitchell Pateman is the Team Leader for Exercise Physiologists at Optimum Allied Health, managing the EP team across clinic locations. In his role, Mitchell is dedicated to developing the clinical skills of the exercise physiology team, guiding them in evidence-based practices, and ensuring they provide high-quality care. He mentors team members to enhance their expertise in managing chronic conditions, rehabilitation, and functional fitness.
