The opportunity;

We’re looking for a Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist to join our team as a Team Leader for the New England region, based out of Armidale.

Optimum Allied Health exists to create better access to allied health in regional Australia. We are a team of 55+ allied health professionals servicing northern NSW and south east QLD in residential aged care, home visits, workplace health and 4 of our own clinics and gyms.

Things you will be doing;

  • Delivering services to residential aged care facilities
    • Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments under ACFI
    • Provide hands on evidence based treatment in aged care facilties and in clients home.
    • Running group exercise sessions and falls prevention classes
  • Delivering Community services
    • Including visiting NDIS and Community Aged Care Clients in their own homes
  • Leading the implementation of new aged care contracts
  • Growing a team in Armidale and Tamworth

Skills needed

  • Hold a physiotherapy or occupational therapy degree
  • 2+ years experience working in residential aged care
  • Management experience is preferred
  • Ability to build rapport with our clients and team
  • Strong communication skills
  • The ability to have fun & be a part of a close knit family.
  • Valid police check
  • Valid drivers licence
